2009 House Bill 2122: Clarify valid local highway sign zoning
Introduced by Rep. Bill Otto R- on January 27, 2009
To create an exception to state highway signage restrictions in order to allow certains signs to remain as legally conforming signs. If the signs were authorized under local zoning land use provisions in place before June 30, 2006, then the signs and the zoning provisions would be grandfathered in and would be deemed legally conforming. Any local zoning provisions adopted after that 2006 date would not be deemed valid unless they are part of comprehensive zoning.   Official Text and Analysis.
Referred to the House Transportation Committee on January 28, 2009
